Joseph Onyedikachi Amadi is involved in the firm’s maritime, oil and gas, corporate and dispute resolution areas of practice. He advices and represents clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters and discharges his services with diligence and utmost care.
Prior to joining the firm in 2019, he worked with one of the leading firms in Lagos, Nigeria, where he advised and represented oil and gas giants and government corporations.
He undertook a Diploma in Criminology and Security Studies while undergoing his LL.B studies in Babcock University. He graduated with a 2nd Class degree (Upper Division) from both Babcock University and the Nigerian Law School in 2016 and 2017 respectively and was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2017.
He holds membership and graduate membership positions in different professional bodies including the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the International Bar Association (IBA), the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (U.K.), the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), the Maritime and Transport Law Committee of the IBA.
He has attended several workshops and trainings including two industrial workshops at the Department of Petroleum Resources, a Google Digital Skills Training and a Poise Nigeria Graduate Finishing Academy workshop.
