Oluwakemi obtained her Bachelor of Law degree (LL.B. Hons.) from Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos in 2005. She proceeded to the Nigerian Law School in 2006 and was successfully admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2007 as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
‘Kemi started her legal practice in 2007 and joined Foundation Chambers in October 2010. She undertakes various maritime, commercial, corporate law and company secretarial assignments. She advises Clients extensively on various transactions relating to maritime claims, company securities, corporate restructuring, and general commercial law. She has considerable experience in shipping, commercial litigation and arbitration.
She holds a Master’s degree in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom. Upon completion of her post-graduate (LL.M) studies in 2014, she gained work experience at the shipping law department of Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW), a law firm in London, United Kingdom.
She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Nigerian Maritime Law Association (NMLA), Association of Professional Negotiators and Mediators (APNM), and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
