Adedoyin joined the practice in March 2004 and has been involved in the core of the firm’s maritime and commercial practice, actively advising local and international clients on various maritime/shipping issues and prosecuting litigation and/or negotiating out of Court settlements emanating therefrom. He also possesses practical experience of intricate corporate/commercial matters, especially in capital market transactions, contracts and real estate.

Between September 2009 and October 2010, ‘Doyin undertook post-graduate (LLM) studies in International Maritime Law at Swansea University, United Kingdom. After his post graduate studies, he had a short work experience at Ince & Co, London office where he worked closely with a Senior Partner in the firm who specialises in Shipbuilding and Offshore Contracts.

He has participated in many local and international conferences and seminars in shipping, including the Sixth European Colloquium on Maritime Law Research, organized by The Institute of International Shipping and Trade, University of Wales, Swansea and a Lloyd’s Maritime Academy Seminar on Shipbuilding, Conversion & Repair Contract Management.

He is a member of the Maritime and Arbitration & Dispute Resolution Committees of the Business Law Section, Nigerian Bar Association, and also of the Maritime Arbitrators Association of Nigeria.
