Admitted to the Bar, 2004, Nigeria. Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Education: University of Nigeria, The Nigerian Law School (LL.B. {Hons} 2002; B.L. 2004); Swansea University, Wales, UK, LL.M (2016).

Callistus started legal practice in October 2004 and joined the firm in June 2006. He has since then been actively involved in Maritime, Shipping, Commercial and Corporate practice of the firm: proffering legal advice to Clients particularly on the registration, charter & sale of vessels, arrest & release of vessels, general leases & mortgages, shipping related issues, and litigation emanating from these areas of practice. As part of the requirement for continuing legal education, he attends seminars and training courses in shipping and maritime practice.

Between 2015 and 2016 Callistus undertook post-graduate (LLM) studies in International Commercial and Maritime Law at Swansea University, United Kingdom. After his post-graduate studies, he gained a short work experience at Holman Fenwick Willan LLP, London office.

He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), International Bar Association (IBA), and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK.
